HGV Trailer Technician 

- Salary: Up to £38,000 per year
- Hours: Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:30

We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Business based in the Gateshead area.

The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £40,000 with working hours of Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:30.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Trailer Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties of a HGV Trailer Technician for our client include, but are not limited to:

- Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers.
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements of this HGV Trailer Technician vacancy:

- Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles.
- Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Excellent mechanical knowledge
- Welding certification.
- Experience with axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST).
- Tail lift and double-deck maintenance experience.
