HGV Trailer Technician

We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Specialist based in the Loughborough area.

The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £45,000 with OTE of circa £50,000 and working hours of either Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm, or a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 6am – 6pm.

Duties:

- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements:

- Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles.
- Industry qualifications (City and Guilds or NVQs).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- IRTEC accreditation (desirable)
- EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO).
- Welding certification (desirable)
- Experience with axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST).
- Tail lift and double-deck maintenance experience.
