Excellent opportunity for an HGV Trailer Fitter Technician Engineer to join a well-established company Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum depending on experienceJob Type: Full Time / Permanent Location: HaydockBenefits: 5% employers pension contribution, annual holidays Job descriptionThey are a small but rapidly growing business who pride themselves in offering high standard HGV trailer services which include MOT''s, breakdowns, damage/accident repairs and trailer services.Due to the business expanding, they have an exciting opportunity for someone who has drive and is willing to learn and progress.We are recruiting a HGV Trailer Technician/Fitter to join their small team of professionals based at their equipped workshop facility on Haydock Industrial Estate.Hours - 42.5 hour working week Hours 8am-5pmThe RoleMechanical servicing and repairs on HGV Trailers and occasional trucksMOT Preparation.Carry out PMI inspections.Diagnose faults and repair effectively.Ensure Trailers are repaired to a high standard, road worthy and safe.Complete digital worksheets and service sheets on tablet provided.Use tools effectively and safely, keeping in line with good health and safety practice.What we are looking forMechanical experience on HGV Trailers is essential. NVQ, City and Guilds and Irtec qualifications desirable.Knowledge of mechanical systems, fitting and maintenanceKnowledge of PSV/ MOT Trailer inspectionsCan work safely in a workshop setting.Ability to work alone and as part of a ..... full job details .....
