HGV Technician Location: DoncasterShift Pattern: 4 on 4 off days OR 4 on 4 off nights OR Mon - Fri nights Pay Rate: Up to £24.00 per hourJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentWe are looking for experienced HGV Technicians to join the busy workshop team based in Doncaster, the site is operational 24/7 and workshop consists of three pits, hard standing bays, ramps, tacho bay and brake roller tester. The role would involve working on mainly Scania but also some work on Volvo, merc, daf, Renault , Iveco, MAN.Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faultsComplete inspections and safety checks to DVSA standardsEnsure all work is completed efficiently and accuratelyMaintain high standards of health and safety within the workshopSupport fleet uptime and operational performance targets What We''re Looking For Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle TechnicianStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsExperience working on HGVs and trailersRelevant qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (desirable)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to quality workmanship and safety standards What''s In It For You?
