HGV Technician / HGV MechanicLocation: HullSalary: £46,804Shift: Monday Friday, 7:00am 5:00pm / 8:00am 6:00pm (alternating shifts) 48 hrsPlus 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, 8:00am 12:00pmWe re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our friendly team in a busy 2-bay workshop based in Hull. You ll be working alongside two other skilled technicians, carrying out maintenance, repairs, MOT preparation, and refurbishment work on a mixed fleet of HGVs and trailers.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and wants to join a well-equipped, supportive workshop.Pay and Benefits Salary: £46,804Cycle to work scheme20 days holiday plus bank holidaysOngoing training and development opportunities, including IRTEC, Class 1, BPW, diagnostic training, and brand specific manufacturer training Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, inspections, MOT preparation, and general repairs on HGVs and trailersPerform refurbishment work to a high standard across vehicles and trailersDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficientlyComplete all job cards, service sheets, and compliance documentation accuratelyMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environmentLiaise with the Workshop Supervisor, drivers, and traffic office to ensure smooth workshop operations What We re Looking For Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Fitter, or similar roleStrong technical knowledge of HGVs and trailers, ..... full job details .....
