HGV Technician - Day shift TP Select is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and enthusiastic HGV Technician to join their busy and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles to a high standard. You will play an important role in ensuring the fleet remains safe, compliant and operational, working as part of a knowledgeable and supportive team. The successful candidate will be dependable, proactive and committed to producing high-quality workmanship. Shift Pattern 4 on, 4 off 12-hour rotating shift pattern Key Responsibilities Carry out vehicle servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are kept in a safe and roadworthy condition. Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure all relevant maintenance requirements are completed within the required timescales. Work in accordance with DVSA regulations and Operators Licence requirements at all times. Accurately complete all required documentation, maintaining a comprehensive audit trail of servicing, inspections and repairs. Ensure all work is carried out in line with relevant health, safety and food safety standards. Safely use Material Handling Equipment (MHE) where authorised and trained to do so. ..... full job details .....
