HGV Technician

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy, professional, and friendly workshop team based in Nuneaton. This is an permanent opportunity offering consistent hours, excellent pay, and a supportive working environment.This role would suit a skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, excellent mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair work.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine servicing and maintenance on HGV vehiclesDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficientlyComplete vehicle inspections and identify potential issuesUse diagnostic equipment and specialist tools effectivelyRepair and replace components including engines, transmissions, and brakesOrder parts and materials as requiredMaintain accurate service and repair recordsEnsure all work is completed in line with health and safety standardsKeep the workshop clean, safe, and organisedRequirementsPrevious experience working as an HGV Technician, or PSV TechnicianStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsGood knowledge of HGV systems and vehicle maintenanceAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyCity and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalentTime served technicians will also be consideredWhat''s On Offer£52,000 a year (for a basic of 40.25 hours per week)Overtime paid at time and a halfExtremely generous holiday entitlement4 on 4 off shift pattern07.00 start timePermanentFriendly and supportive ..... full job details .....
