HGV Technician

HGV Technician 20.50 per hour 4 on, 4 off 7:00am - 7:00pm We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop. You''ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HGVs and trailers, ensuring all vehicles remain safe, compliant, and roadworthy. Key Duties:Carry out servicing, repairs, and safety inspections.Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.Complete maintenance records and job documentation.Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.Requirements:Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).Previous HGV Technician/Mechanic experience.Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desirable:HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.Hydraulic, welding, or fabrication experience.Experience using diagnostic software.Apply today if you''re looking for a well-paid role with a great 4-on, 4-off shift pattern and excellent work-life balance.
