Part time hours available Job Overview Reporting to the Workshop Manager and based at our maintenance facility in Ballymena, the successful applicants will carry out all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, inspections, and repairs on our fleet of HGV tractor units and trailers. The role is key to ensuring all vehicles remain safe, roadworthy, and fully compliant with all legal and company standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGV trucks and trailers.Complete scheduled safety inspections and report any defects identified.Prepare vehicles and trailers for annual testing and inspections.Attend vehicle breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs where required.Complete all relevant job cards, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation accurately.Respond positively to changing workloads and operational priorities.Follow all company Health and Safety policies and safe working procedures.Report recurring faults, safety concerns, or equipment issues to the Workshop Manager.Support colleagues and work collaboratively to ensure maximum workshop efficiency.Please note this job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities.
