Job Title: HGV / Vehicle TechnicianLocation: AvonmouthSalary: £22 per hour (Total annual salary: £46,046)Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 offReporting ToWorkshop Chargehand / Workshop or Service ManagerRole ObjectivesComplete all servicing and maintenance work to the highest standard within manufacturer time schedulesDeliver a professional, high-quality performance in all work activities, contributing to customer satisfaction and retentionSupport workshop colleagues with technical issues and continuous improvementsCarry out comprehensive fault diagnosis and repair of vehicle malfunctionsEnsure full compliance with all company policies and proceduresAccurately document results of diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and safety inspectionsPromote a positive image of the product and after-sales serviceKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out all work in line with manufacturer standards and instructionsPerform visual inspections, adjustments, and replacement of worn or defective componentsUndertake retrofitting of accessories and removable body componentsIdentify and report abnormal wear and defectsComplete minor repairs independently and assist with complex repairs as requiredConduct major assembly work and repair operations on key components and unitsFollow job card instructions and liaise with the workshop controllerReport any additional work or parts required promptlyEnsure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working orderKeep work bays and workshop areas clean and organisedAdhere ..... full job details .....
