HGV Technician

My Client are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team and help keep customers vehicles on the road.Key Responsibilities:Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers to DVSA standards.Perform routine inspectionsDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic equipment.Replace or repair parts, including brakes, engines, transmissions, steering, and suspension systems.Complete job cards and service sheets accurately and promptly.Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and timely manner, following health and safety protocols.Liaise with the Workshop Manager and other team members on job progress.Keep the workshop clean and organized.Attend breakdowns and recoveries when required (if applicable).Requirements:NVQ Level 3 in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance plus will have experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs Proven experience as a HGV mechanic or technician.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility for shift work, overtime, and occasional call-outs (if applicable).
