HGV Technician Bishops Stortford £25.00 per hour (£65,000 basic) + Overtime We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established operation based in Bishops Stortford. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working within a small, supportive team of two. The Role: Maintenance, servicing and repair of HGVs Fault finding and diagnostics Working with hydraulic systems Taking responsibility as the lead mechanic within a small team Ensuring the fleet is maintained to a high standard at all times Occasional travel to vehicles when issues arise Working Hours and Flexibility: Monday to Friday: 7:00am 5:00pm (flexible) Hours are flexible as long as work is completed and the fleet is maintained, flexibility is offered If unexpected issues arise, you may be required to stay and complete repairs. Time can be given back (e.g. later start the next day) or paid as overtime Overtime and Call Outs: Overtime paid at an enhanced hourly rate after 50 hours Overtime available as and when required Occasional breakdown call-outs outside of hours (typically no more than 4 5 times per year) Requirements: Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Comfortable working with hydraulics Ability to work independently and take lead responsibility Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Flexible and committed approach to ensuring fleet uptime What s on Offer: £25.00 per hour (£65,000 basic salary) 28 days holiday (including bank ..... full job details .....
