HGV Technician

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Highway Maintenance Company, based in the Larbert area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £45,000 with OTE of circa £55,000 with working hours of Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 17:00. There will be an early close Friday, with Saturdays paid at x1.5.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

- The company will arrange for the successful HGV Technician to obtain their Class 2 Driving Licence and undertake Telehandler Training if they do not already have these accreditations.

Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:

- Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation
- Mentor Apprentice HGV Technicians – ensuring they receive progressive development.

Requirements:

- Previous working experience within the role
- Either obtain a Level 2/3 Qualification, but prior experience can be considered.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge
- A Class 2 Licence may be beneficial to your application
- CPS Card
- An active willingness to participate in training activities.
