HGV Technician
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy Fleet Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for an immediate start within a professional workshop environment.The Role:As part of the Fleet Services team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and inspecting a diverse fleet of vehicles, including:Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)Light Commercial VehiclesMunicipal VehiclesElectric and Hybrid VehiclesKey Responsibilities:Service, maintain and repair HGVs and other fleet vehiclesDiagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faultsPrepare vehicles for MOT inspections and safety checksCarry out welding, fabrication and body repair work as requiredRespond to vehicle breakdowns and repair accident-damaged vehiclesMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationEnsure high standards of workshop housekeeping and health and safety complianceEssential Requirements:Level 3 City and Guilds in Heavy Motor Vehicle Engineering (or equivalent qualification)Full UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement (Essential)DVSA Inspection and Testing QualificationPrevious experience maintaining and repairing HGVs and commercial vehiclesStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsWhat''s on Offer?£18.85 per hourMonday to Friday working pattern - no regular weekend workImmediate start availableOpportunity to work on a varied fleet including electric and hybrid vehiclesOngoing contract opportunityIf you have ..... full job details .....
