HGV Technician

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 HGV Technician to join a well-established commercial vehicle operation in Dartford.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician who is looking to join a professional workshop environment with a strong focus on vehicle safety, maintenance standards and long-term career development.The RoleAs an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a varied commercial vehicle fleet.Your duties will include:Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenanceDiagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faultsCompleting inspections and defect rectificationCarrying out brake, suspension, steering and drivetrain repairsUsing diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faultsPreparing vehicles for MOTCompleting maintenance documentation accuratelyEnsuring all work is completed to DVSA and company standardsWorking safely and efficiently within the workshopSupporting other members of the engineering team when requiredAbout YouWe are looking for candidates who have:Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalentPrevious experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle TechnicianStrong mechanical and diagnostic skillsExperience working on commercial vehiclesGood understanding of vehicle inspection and maintenance requirementsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licenceAn HGV licence would be ..... full job details .....
