This role would suit a qualified technician who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working as part of a skilled and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles Complete scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance in line with DVSA requirements Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment Repair and replace components including brakes, steering, suspension, transmissions and electrical systems Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure they meet all required roadworthiness standards Attend vehicle breakdowns when required Accurately complete job cards, inspection sheets and compliance documentation Identify additional defects and report any required repairs Ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining excellent quality and safety standards Keep tools, equipment and the workshop clean, organised and properly maintained Skills and Experien...
