The company is an independently owned HGV maintenance and repair company, with several branches in the South-East of England, dealing with all types of companies across South-East-England.

I am looking to recruit an HGV Technician-on nights, to join very busy workshop, with great opportunities to progress your technical career, with additional HGV certification and training on offer, potentially to Master Technician level.

As HGV Technician you will be maintaining and servicing HGVs.

Further opportunities for those with ambition will arise for internal promotion.

For this position the following is required;

• Have several years proven and stable employment background working as an HGV Technician within a busy independent or main HGV dealers-
• Be qualified to City and Guilds Level II or NVQ Level III in Vehicle Mechanics
• Be able to use diagnosis machines (On-going training will always be provided as each truck brand has there own diagnosis machines)
• Be ambitious and open to career progression
• Be within an agreeable travel distance from-where you reside
• Have your own tools

Your duties;

• Performing repairs to heavy goods vehicles
• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes
• Working with repair team-to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles
• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled
• To fault find diagnose

On Offer;

• Starting base rate of pay: -23.00-per hour + Overtime paid x1.5 + Pension + On-going training-+ Holidays + Growth opportunities
• 4 on 4 off
