HGV Technician Night Shift

About Thompson Commercials Ltd 40 hour per week nights. Monday - Thursday (8pm-6.30am)We are the largest privately owned Renault Truck dealership in the UK, with 8 depots spanning the East of England. Duties Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Perform equipment repair, including the use of hand tools and power tools. Fabricate parts as necessary to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Assemble and disassemble various vehicle components for repairs and inspections. Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance on HGVs as required. Weld components when necessary to ensure structural integrity. Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
