A leading commercial vehicle workshop in Faversham is looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic / Technician to join its skilled and growing team.

The Role
Working as part of a professional workshop team, you''ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of HGVs and commercial vehicles, ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop safe, compliant and ready for the road.

Your Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
Complete MOT preparation and inspection work.
Perform preventative maintenance and routine vehicle inspections.
Ensure all work meets DVSA and manufacturer standards.
Accurately complete workshop paperwork and job records.
Work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.

What We''re Looking For
We''re looking for experienced HGV Technicians who can hit the ground running and deliver high-quality workmanship.

You''ll ideally have:

Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or HGV Technician.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience working on a variety of commercial vehicles and trailers.
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualifications (desirable).
A full UK driving licence (an HGV licence is advantageous but not essential).
A reliable, professional approach with excellent attention to detail.
