Marshall Fleet Solutions (MFS) are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician for their Tamworth depot Purpose of the positionThe Marshall Fleet Solutions offering is a truly one-stop shop to manage all fleet related items. We work with our customers to ensure they operate a fully managed and legally compliant fleet of commercial vehicles and trailers; this opportunity is to work from our flagship depot based in Tamworth to maintain a large customer fleet of trailers. Overview of the role is to carry out service, maintenance, MOT preparation and presentation to authorized testing facility (ATF) in the local area, fault diagnosis and repairs to a fleet of circa 100+ trailers. Reporting directly into the operational controllers on site Training will be provided to ensure safety, safe working, compliance, business operations, maintenance of equipment i.e., BPW, as required. Accountability Responsibilities:Comply with all HandS, risk assessments and safe systems of work.Fully conversant with the following Government documents. Heavy goods vehicle (HGV) inspection manualGuide to maintaining roadworthiness.Communicate with our customers and meet their various requests.Advise customers on product or service issues with their fleet i.e., problem-solving.Put customer satisfaction at the very top of your priority list.Process customer transactions and keep records of activity.Handle maintenance issues within the pre agreed service plan.Meet operational customer ..... full job details .....
