HGV Trailer/Tanker Technician Location: Leeds Pay: up to 21p/h Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am -4.30pm and Friday 8am -3.30pm Overtime paid at 1.5 About your new company My client is a large fleet maintenance company based in Leeds, due to their continued growth they are now looking for a skilled HGV Trailer/Tanker Technician to join their ever growing team About your new HGV Trailer/Tanker Technician role You will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of HGV trailers, tankers and provide technical support from fault analysis through to competition. Assist in the fault diagnosis process. Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair. Road test vehicle when required (if holder of HGV licence). Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller Fitting pumps and meters, repairing barrels, accident damage repairs to tanker body work, fabricate components, perform tank pressure test inspections. You would also regularly work with hydraulics and pneumatics The successful HGV Trailer/Tanker Technician will require You will have an in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles, HGV Trailers and Tankers Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (essential) Be a fully qualified HGV Trailer/Tanker Technician with City and Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair The successful HGV Trailer/Tanker Technician will receive Competitive salary Performance based support and ..... full job details .....
