Job Title: HGV Technician Location: Walthamstow Salary: Up to 52.8k Basic + Overtime Shifts: Days Key Responsibilities:Carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs across the HGV fleetDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faultsComplete preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtimeEnsure all vehicles are maintained in line with DVSA safety and compliance standardsAssist with MOT preparation and compliance checksComplete accurate maintenance, service and repair recordsIdentify potential issues and recommend appropriate repairsMaintain a high standard of health and safety at all timesWork as part of a professional and supportive workshop teamAbout You: The successful HGV Technician will ideally have:NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent qualificationPrevious experience working on HGVs or commercial vehiclesStrong mechanical and diagnostic skillsA proactive approach to preventative maintenanceA strong understanding of vehicle safety and complianceA full UK driving licenceHGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageousWhat''s on Offer?Competitive salaryOvertime opportunitiesCompany pension schemeStaff discountsOngoing training and developmentPermanent employment with an established and well-known brandSupportive and friendly working environmentHow to Apply Interested?
