HGV Technician Location: Harlow, EssexSalary: £42,000 £65,000 per annum, depending on experienceHours: Monday Friday, rotating shiftsEmployment: Permanent, Full-timeRecruitment: Managed by Interaction Recruitment on behalf of our clientThe Opportunity I am currently working with an established independent HGV workshop in Harlow who are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician to join their growing workshop team.This is a hands-on position suited to a technician with strong mechanical and diagnostic experience who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working on a varied range of commercial vehicles.Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on HGVs and commercial vehicles.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.Carry out fault finding using diagnostic equipment, including TEXA and Jaltest.Complete MOT preparation and rectification work.Investigate and repair vehicle defects.Carry out repairs safely and to a high standard.Complete service sheets, job cards and vehicle documentation accurately.Work both independently and as part of a workshop team.Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment. About You The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience working as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic.Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.Good knowledge of HGVs and commercial vehicles.Experience with servicing, inspections and repairs.Experience using diagnostic equipment ..... full job details .....
