The Role HGV Technician As a HGV Technician, you will work in a fully equipped, professional workshop maintaining and repairing a modern mixed fleet of HGVs. This is a hands-on role with real variety, covering trucks and trailers, and an opportunity to make a real impact in a busy operation. Key Responsibilities for the HGV Technician: Service, maintain, and repair HGVs, including Mercedes, Scania, and Volvo Work on a variety of trailers, including single-deck, double-deck, and flatbeds Carry out vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and MOT preparation Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and fully compliant with safety and legal standards Working Hours for the HGV Technician: Monday to Friday 45 hours per week Flexible start and finish times: 6:00am 3:30pm 7:00am 4:30pm 8:00am 5:30pm Optional Saturday mornings (as required) Requirements HGV Technician Level 3 HGV / Vehicle Maintenance qualification preferred IRTEC accreditation preferred (training available if not currently held) Class 1 (C+E) ..... full job details .....
