HGV Technician Salary: 42,000 per annum + Overtime Location: YorkHours: 40 Hours per week. Whether you''re currently working on trucks, commercial vehicles, fleet vehicles or buses, we''d love to hear from you.We will consider applicants with a background and experience in: REME QualifiedHGV QualifiedPSV QualifiedPlant and AgriculturalThe Role of the HGV Technician / PSV TechnicianAs an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of passenger service vehicles to the highest safety and reliability standards.Carrying out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.Conducting vehicle inspections and defect rectification.Completing MOT preparation work.Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults and carry out repairs.Ensuring all work is completed in line with DVSA and company standards.Maintaining accurate workshop records and documentation.Working effectively as part of a professional engineering team. Ideal HGV Technician / PSV Technician will have:NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.Experience working on heavy vehicles or commercial ..... full job details .....
