Job Overview Are you an HGV Technician/Mechanic looking for a new exciting role in a growing and expanding business? Our client is looking for an HGV Technician to join their team in Livingston. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles and trailers for Tesco. All shift patterns considered as they are flexible - minimum 40.25 hours (No Monday - Friday days available) Salary: Days: £20.13 per hour Nights: £22.37 per hour Overtime available - paid 1.5 Responsibilities: Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers. Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation. Overhaul electrical equipment and components. Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment. Welding and metal working. Department of Transport (MOT) testing preparation. Parts ordering and stores management. Support team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.
