HGV Technician

We are looking for an experienced HGV technician to join our independent, busy and well-equipped commercial vehicle workshop in a pleasant rural location to the south of Malvern, Worcestershire. Our dedicated small team specialises in servicing and maintaining Scania, Volvo and DAF trucks. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out 6 weekly inspections and routine servicing of all types of HGVs and trailers- Fault finding and diagnosis using diagnostic equipment (training will be given)- Prepare vehicles for MOT and carry out all repairs to Ministry standards- Accurate record keeping and completion of all relevant paperwork- Collaborate with other team members to enhance workshop efficiency- Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with health and safety regulations Requirements: - Ideally NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance- Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team- Driving licence with a clean driving record.
