You will play a crucial role in keeping our specialist commercial vehicle fleet fully operational, safe, and compliant. Key Responsibilities Perform routine servicing, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and municipal equipment. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic equipment. Carry out MOT preparations, presentations, and repair work to ensure standard compliance. Complete all relevant fleet administration and job sheets accurately in a timely manner. Respond to breakdown calls and carry out road side repairs when required. Requirements NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (or equivalent qualification). Proven experience working on commercial vehicles or municipal fleets. A valid HGV / LGV Class 1 (Category C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) licence is highly desirable. Sound knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
