HGV Technician

Connect Appointments is recruiting an HGV Technician to join a well-established industrial business based in Kirkcaldy.

Our client operates a busy fleet within a heavy industrial environment, offering a structured career pathway to become a DAF certified HGV Technician.

What''s on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm - with an early Friday finish
• -35,000 per annum + overtime available and paid up to double time
• Clear career progression to DAF certified HGV Technician with enhanced salary

As an HGV Technician, your duties will include:

• Driving HGV vehicles as required within the business operation
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks including tyre pressure, oil levels and wiper condition
• Supporting the maintenance team with general vehicle upkeep
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all safety standards

To be considered as an HGV Technician, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Some mechanical knowledge or semi-skilled technician experience
• A willingness to develop and train towards full HGV technician certification
• A reliable, professional approach to work
