We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join an established engineering team based at Bristol Airport. This is a varied workshop and airside-based role where you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of a range of specialist vehicles and equipment. HGV Techncian / HGV Mechanic The Role As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard and remain safe, reliable and operational. Your duties will include: • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing and repairs. • Diagnosing mechanical faults and identifying required repairs and parts. • Carrying out inspections, brake tests and smoke tests. • Reporting defects and ensuring repairs are completed safely and efficiently. • Working on a range of HGVs, specialist vehicles and plant equipment. • Accurately recording completed work, inspections and parts used. • Keeping management informed of additional repairs, parts requirements and vehicles off the road. • Working closely with stores and colleagues to ensure parts are available and correctly recorded. • Completing all relevant paperwork and timesheets accurately. • ..... full job details .....
