We''re recruiting for experienced HGV Technicians to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in Lincoln.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a long-term position with a structured rotating shift pattern, excellent earning potential and additional Saturday overtime.

Shift Pattern
Week 1 - Early Shift
Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 3:30pm

Week 2 - Late Shift
Monday - Friday: 1:00pm - 10:30pm

Rotating Saturday
7:00am - 12:00 midday
Saturday hours paid at time and a half.

The Role
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:
·Inspecting and repairing HGVs to DVSA standards.
·Carrying out servicing and preventative maintenance.
·Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT testing.
·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.
·Carrying out general mechanical and electrical repairs.
·Attending off-site breakdowns when required.
·Completing repair documentation and job sheets accurately.
·Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
·Working as part of a professional workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime.

About You
We''re looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician with:
·Relevant NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
·Previous HGV or commercial vehicle maintenance experience.
·Strong mechanical and diagnostic fault-finding skills.
·A reliable and professional approach to work.
·Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
·The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Main dealer experience is advantageous, but candidates from all commercial vehicle backgrounds will be considered.
