HGV TECHNICIAN
 
Salary: £50,000-£52,000 per annum
Location: Mill Hill, London
Hours: Monday-Friday | 45 hours per week
Break: 1-hour paid break
Saturday: Optional overtime available
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
 
Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role with excellent earning potential and optional overtime?
 
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs)
·Completing routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
·Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
·Preparing vehicles for MOT and DVSA inspections
·Investigating and rectifying defects identified during inspections and daily checks
·Carrying out repairs in line with manufacturer maintenance schedules
 
What We''re Looking For
·Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
·Experience carrying out PMIs, servicing and repairs on commercial vehicles
·Good knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair procedures
·Understanding of DVSA standards and vehicle compliance
·Strong attention to detail
