HGV TECHNICIAN
Salary: £46,800 + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday | 45 hours per week
Working Hours: 07:00 - 17:00

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity with a Monday-to-Friday working pattern?
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle workshop. This is a great opportunity for a technician looking for a varied role, regular working hours and the chance to develop their technical skills within a busy workshop environment.
 
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
·Completing repairs and replacing worn or defective components
·Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying potential faults
·Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
·Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
·Following health and safety procedures at all times
·Working efficiently to meet workshop requirements
·Supporting the wider workshop team when required
 
 
What We''re Looking For
·Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
·Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
·Good knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·A reliable, professional and proactive approach
·Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 would be advantageous
·MOT preparation experience would be beneficial
