HGV Technician - Birmingham Location: Birmingham Salary: £18.00 - £19.66 per hour, depending on qualifications Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm 45 hours per week Saturday: Alternate Saturdays, 7:00am - 12:00pm Overtime: £22.50 - £24.58 per hour after 45 hours Sunday / Bank Holiday: £27.00 - £29.49 per hour Company Van: Exclusive use for work purposes HGV Technician - Excellent Earning Potential and Development We''re recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join an established commercial vehicle operation in Birmingham. You''ll work alongside an experienced team maintaining a fleet of HGVs and trailers, with the opportunity to develop your skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and specialist vehicle systems. The Role Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on HGVs and trailers. Fault-finding and repairs on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. Carrying out trailer inspections and repairs. Working on braking systems and completing brake testing. Working on specialist blower trailers and associated equipment. Carrying out pre-LOLER inspections where required. Completing welding and fabrication work where required.
