The pay is 20 to 21 an hour ( 52,000 to 54,600), with optional Saturday overtime taking earnings to 57,000 and above. The business is a well established contractor of several hundred people and runs its own mixed fleet of HGVs and vans. The fleet is growing, and the HGV Technician joins the in house workshop team, working on the company''s own vehicles rather than a queue of customer jobs. The role would suit an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic from a dealer, fleet or independent workshop. PSV and bus technicians moving across to HGV are very welcome. The hours are 50 a week, Monday to Friday, as 10 hour days with a paid 1 hour break. The ideal is a split of earlies and lates, but earlies only or a core day shift will be considered.
