As the HGV Driver Team Leader, you are the bridge between strategy and execution. You will ensure our drivers, systems, and vehicles don''t just meet industry standards-they set them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage the tanker driver team, overseeing planning, job pack completion, and performance KPIs.
• Compliance & Safety: Conduct driver inductions, vehicle inspections, and safety checks. You''ll be responsible for risk assessments and maintaining audit-ready defect reports.
• Operational Readiness:Create and update contingency plans to ensure we hit planning thresholds during water supply interruptions.
• Technical Oversight: Undertake tanker sampling, attend sites to troubleshoot issues, and ensure water hygiene standards are impeccable.
• Personnel Management: Record driver infringements, handle disciplinary matters in liaison with HR, and foster a culture of accountability.

• Water Hygiene Qualification: A fundamental understanding of safety and cleanliness protocols.
• Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of water tankers and the water sampling process.
• Operational Grit: The ability to attend sites, perform emergency testing, and find solutions under pressure.
• Organisation: Self-motivated with the ability to manage complex schedules and records.
• Previous experience in people managementor team leadership.
• A background in logistics or fleet compliance.

Compensation package:

Up to £43,470.00 depending on experience
