HGV Supervisor Location: BiggleswadeSalary: £50,000 BasicShift: Day ShiftAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on HGV Supervisor (On the Tools) to join our team in Biggleswade. This is a working supervisory role, ideal for a time-served HGV Technician or Level 3 qualified professional who is ready to take the next step in their career while remaining actively involved in workshop operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support a team of HGV Technicians on a day-to-day basisCarry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to DVSA standardsEnsure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standardsAssist with job allocation, workshop planning, and workflow managementSupport training and development of junior techniciansEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsMaintain accurate job records and documentationRequirementsTime served HGV Technician or Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and RepairProven experience working on HGVs in a workshop environmentPrevious supervisory or team-leading experience desirableStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsExcellent communication and organisational skillsFull UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous)What We OfferCompetitive basic salary of £50,000Day shift pattern offering work-life balanceStable and supportive working environmentOpportunities for progression and further trainingIf you are a motivated HGV professional looking for a hands-on supervisory ..... full job details .....
