We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Shunter Driver to support a busy operation in Halifax (HX3) on a 3-week temporary assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV Driver looking for short-term work with an attractive hourly rate and all hours paid, including breaks.

-22.16 per hour PAYE
All hours paid - including breaks
12-hour shifts
Well-established site in Halifax
Immediate start available

• Day Shifts: 06:00 - 18:00
• Night Shifts: 18:00 - 06:00
• 12 hours paid per shift

Week 1

• Mon 13th - Day
• Tue 14th - Day
• Wed 15th - Day
• Thu 16th - Night
• Fri 17th - Night

Week 2

• Thu 23rd - Day
• Fri 24th - Day

Week 3

• Mon 27th - Night
• Tue 28th - Night
• Wed 29th - Night

• Yard shunting and trailer movements
• Moving vehicles safely around site
• Trailer allocation and repositioning
• Liaising with transport and warehouse teams
• Completing vehicle safety checks
• Following all site health & safety procedures

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous shunting experience preferred
• Good understanding of site safety procedures
• Reliable and available for the full contract duration
