HGV Refuse Driver

Job description: Overview Corr Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client dedicate and skilled Truck Driver. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a strong commitment to delivering goods safely and efficiently. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Duties Operate and drive flatbed lorries to transport goods to various locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it appropriately for transit. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before and after each journey. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transportation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients professionally. Qualifications Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for flatbed operation. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the logistics industry is preferred. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
