HGV Sweeper DriverCharnwood£16.59phAs a truck driver in refuse collection, you ll:Driving and operating specialised street sweeping machinery, sweeping designated road channels, footways and public areas often removing debris leaves or litter Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the jobUndertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removalUse in-cab technology and mobile devices as directedComplete relevant paperwork in real timeCarry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after useEnsure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users Your typical working hours will be: 6am to 4pm, Monday Friday What you ll need to do the role: Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)Driver CPCWillingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreementGood communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivatedWillingness to undertake tasks To find out more information please contact (url removed) Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices.We are an equal opportunity ..... full job details .....
