Hexagon Recruitment is hiring HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a friendly and reliable team in Denbigh, working on behalf of the local authority in their Waste & Recycling department. This is a brilliant opportunity to start immediately in a long-term role with a supportive crew.

• £14.60 per hour

• £28,163 per year (based on 37 hours per week)

• Overtime paid at time and a half after 37 hours

• Bank holidays paid at triple time

• Temp-to-perm role with long-term potential

• Driving a Class 2 refuse/recycling vehicle on local rounds

• Working closely with a team of loaders to complete scheduled collections

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues

• Ensuring safe driving and operation at all times in residential and rural areas

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence

• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Someone who’s reliable, a team player, and happy to help on the round when needed

• A good level of physical fitness – this is an active role with some manual work involved
