We''re recruiting for an experienced HGV / Plant Mechanic to join a busy and varied engineering operation in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician, Plant Mechanic, Agricultural/Plant Engineer or Commercial Vehicle Technician who enjoys working across a broad range of vehicles, plant machinery and specialist equipment. You''ll work on everything from HGVs and trailers to JCB plant machinery, hooklift equipment, conveyors and compactors, making this a genuinely varied role where your mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills will be put to use every day. The Role As an HGV / Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for: Carrying out 6-weekly vehicle and trailer inspections and servicing. Completing preventative maintenance and MOT preparation. Servicing and repairing HGV chassis and trailers. Working on DAF, Volvo and Renault commercial vehicles. Maintaining and repairing JCB telehandlers, loading shovels, 360 excavators and access platforms. Carrying out repairs and servicing on plant machinery including mills, conveyors and compactors.
