HGV MOT Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled HGV MOT Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting MOT tests and performing maintenance and repairs on HGV''s. Applicants must be detail-oriented, reliable, and possess a proactive approach to vehicle diagnostics and servicing.Please be advised this role is Monday- Friday. Workshop-Based Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers in line with DVSA requirements, Operator Licence conditions and Manufacturer guidelines. Ensure vehicles are fully prepared for MOT and quality check within required timescales. Ensure vehicles are kept to Buffaload standard Complete all scheduled inspections and repairs on time and in full. Accurately record all work completed using electronic and/or paper systems to maintain a full audit trail Identify and monitor road safety and Buffaload standard defects through MOT and quality check work and Upskill and educate workforce to maintain and improve standard Identify defects proactively and escalate safety-critical issues immediately.
