Salary: £42,387–£45,000 DOE + £1,500 Signing Bonus
OTE: £50,000
Hours: Monday–Friday | 7:30am–4:30pm

The Role

As a Mobile HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HGVs at customer sites and roadside locations, helping to keep vehicles safe, reliable and on the road.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
• Attending customer sites and roadside breakdowns
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Using modern diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults
• Carrying out routine inspections and safety checks
• Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
• Completing efficient roadside repairs to minimise vehicle downtime
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and defect repairs
• Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
• Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety
• Providing professional customer service while working independently in the field

About You

We''re looking for an experienced HGV Technician, Mobile HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Technician with:

• Level 3 / City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Previous HGV Technician or Mobile HGV Technician experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• MOT preparation experience
• HGV breakdown and roadside repair experience
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
• A proactive and professional approach
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

HGV Licence is advantageous but not essential.
