You will be responsible for maintaining HGVs and trailers to MOT standard in a modern, fully equipped environment, working with a supportive team and benefiting from ongoing training and career progression opportunities.Key Responsibilities of an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter Service, maintain and repair a variety of HGVs and trailers to VOSA and manufacturer standards Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults accurately Carry out roadside or on-site breakdown repairs when required Follow all workshop health and safety procedures and company guidelines Order and manage parts requirements with the parts department Complete service sheets, job cards and inspection reports accurately and on time Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with workshop standards Undertake ongoing technical and product training to keep skills up to dateSkills and Qualifications for an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV FitterEssential Level 3 NVQ, VCQ or City and Guilds in Heavy Vehicle ..... full job details .....
