HGV Mechanic

HGV Mechanic (Nights)Location: BristolSalary: 50,000 per annum.Job Type: Full-time, Permanent An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic to join a well-established transport operation at their Keynsham depot. This is a night shift position offering flexible shift patterns and start times to suit the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of HGVs and trailers.Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs with minimal supervision.Prepare vehicles for MOT in line with DVSA standards.Maintain accurate service and repair records.Ensure work is completed to the highest standards of safety and compliance. Shift Options: Shift patterns: Sunday to Thursday OR Monday to FridayStart times: Between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PMShift length: 8 or 9-hour shifts depending on preference Requirements: Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic.Confident in diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs independently.Experience with Scania and DAF vehicles is advantageous but not essential.Relevant HGV qualifications or equivalent industry experience.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
