Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. Duties Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on various types of machinery and vehicles. Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques. Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other critical components. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Getting lorries ready for MOT Skills Proficient in mechanical repair techniques and diagnostic tools. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of safety regulations related to mechanical work. Experience with welding or fabrication is an advantage. A valid HGV licence is preferred for roles involving vehicle repairs.
