Key duties as the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic: Repair vehicles (mainly HGV but there would also be light vehicles to work on too) and make routine maintenance checks to ensure that the vehicle is running as it should be. Perform diagnostic work on vehicles to resolve issues using relevant diagnostic equipment. Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements. Good technical knowledge of a wide range of vehicles and a high level of attention to detail. Possess the ability to work well with customers, maintaining a patient and friendly attitude.
