This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a varied fleet of HGVs, refuse vehicles and plant equipment within a secure, supportive environment. The Role You'll be responsible for: Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs, plant equipment and Council vehicles. Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults. Attending breakdowns and carrying out on-site repairs when required. Welding, fabrication and body repairs. Completing service and inspection records. Supporting workshop stores and maintaining a safe, tidy workspace. Working an alternating early and late shift rota (no night shifts). Participating in an out-of-hours standby rota.
