Hgv Mechanic Location: Shearbridge Road, BD7 1PU Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 2+ months Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 23.48 Per Hour Job Ref: (phone number removed) Job Responsibilities Inspect and repair heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure they are safe and roadworthy. Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of vehicles. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs. Maintain accurate records of work completed. Comply with health and safety regulations. Person Specifications Must Have: Effective communication skills. Experience in manual lifting and handling. Eligibility to work in the UK. Valid licenses and qualifications for HGV maintenance. Ability to provide references from the last two employers. Nice to Have: Previous experience with Bradford Metropolitan District Council. Additional certifications in vehicle repair and maintenance.
